This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave this Bamboo Shadow Weave Shawl that was designed by Robin Lynde for Handwoven, Nov Dec 2006, pages 32–34 and is shown on the cover.
You re going to love weaving this easy Shadow Weave design using two coordinating colors of 100% bamboo yarn.
Although shadow weave looks very complex, in reality even the newest weaver will find it easy to weave.  Shadow weave is a firm, mostly plain-weave structure which makes an ideal choice for a shawl.
Our kits are packaged in a lovely organza bag, perfect for storing your project until completed and then gifting when finished.

Equipment needed:Â 4 shaft loom; 10 or 15 dent reed; 25 weaving width; 2 shuttles.
Instructions: You will need Handwoven November December 2006 from Long Thread Media for complete instructions. In the magazine (Handwoven, November December 2006), the last pick in the treadling repeat is missing. It should be a Lime pick on treadle 2.Â
