Lace weave with color and weave combined!  It is beautiful to look at and a whole lot of fun to weave!

The alternating colors in the warp and weft create warp-way floats of Celestial Blue on one side of the blanket, and weft floats of Admiral Blue on the other side.

Weave structure: Spot Bronson

Yarns: 5 2 Perle Cottons

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 34 weaving width; 8 or12 dent reed (or other size reed to achieve 16 epi); 2 shuttles

Finished size: one baby blankets approximately 30 x 48  

Instructions needed: Handwoven Baby Blankets by Tom Knisely book page 60-61.  This book includes over 30 baby blanket designs.  Sold separately.  Be sure to order this book if you don t already own a copy.
