Weave Along with Sarah Jackson: Reflection Collection Towels
These designer-towels look complex but are achievable even for beginning weavers. They re a great way to explore color in a parallel threading design inspired by Marian Stubenitsky s book “Weaving with Echo and Iris”. Four treadling variations result in four unique towels.
We save you time and expense by winding just the right amount of all eight colors needed to create these gorgeous color combinations.
A four-color warp plus four different weft colors are used to weave four generously sized (18 x 26½ ) towels. You ll be amazed to discover how the treadling and color variations impact the woven fabric!
The structure for the towels is an echo (also known as parallel) threading on four shafts and provides an excellent introduction to the concept of woven iridescence.
